Biopsy
Biopsy is a sample of tissue taken surgically.
Biopsy is taken from lesions in the moth to confirm a clinical diagnosis. Sometimes we may take a biopsy to make sure that the tissue is healthy.
Once the tissue is taken, it is fixed and then pigmented. This will show contrast and under the microscope, a trained person can identify any abnormal behavior of cells.
Our aim is to standardise the reports. Hence we will be using a pathology laborotory in Zurich, Switzerland for our reading of biopsies.
Cost of a biopsy report £250
