Dr Jeevana Subasinghe (Dr Jeeves) was born in Sri Lanka in 1962.

He attended the Royal Junior School and the Royal College, Colombo. He moved to Africa with his family in 1983.

Dr Jeevana Subasinghe Graduated from the Khartoum University obtaining a BDS from the Faculty of Medicine School of Dentistry in 1988.

Dr Subasinghe Moved to Finland the same year and continued his studies in University of Turku, Finland and University of Tampere, Finland. He qualified to work as a Dentist in Finland in 1990. He then worked for two years in the City Health Centres learning and observing the Scandinavian approach to Dentistry. He moved on to practice private dentistry in 1991 and continued to work in the banking district of Helsinki till 1997. 

He joined the University of Helsinki in 1998. He worked as a Research Dentist attached to the Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Helsinki Institute of Dentistry and also took the responsibility of working in the Helsinki University Surgical Hospital and the Helsinki University Hospital Maxillofacial Trauma and Infection Centre. He also worked as a polyclinic dentist in the Helsinki University, Institute of Dentistry.

In 1999 Dr Subasinghe joined the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, where he persued studies in Oral cancer. He became the Director for Screening operations in Sri Lanka for Rotary International. He Came to United Kingdom in 2000. Dr Jeevana Subasinghe is a full member of the European Society for Oral Laser Applications (ESOLA) and The British Dental Association.

Dr Subasinghe is a keen clinician and a reasercher. He works with teams in Helsinki and Zurich and will find the solutions to any problem affecting the cranio maxillofacial region. Dr Subasinghe's objective is to attain functional and aesthetic harmony for his patients.

Dr Subasinghe's free time activities are Painting, Photography,Swimming and Playing and watching Cricket. He speaks fluent English, Finnish and Sinhala. He has some understanding of German, Arabic and Swedish languages.
